Hi I am wondering if anyone can help.

Basically I have a 6 year old daughter with my ex partner who I was with for 5 years on and off and since I moved out in 2010 I've seen my daughter once in the last year and she will not let me see her anymore because she says I must go to a solicitor first. I'm 23 my ex partner is 37 and my daughter is 6 in June. The thing is all I ever did was work and give my ex money I never bought anything for myself it was always spent on her. She also had a daughter already that I had to bring her up as my own so baring in mind of my young age I believe she took advantage of me and the situation. Her other daughter's dad was her age and she has never stopped him seeing her no matter what he did or had done and how abusive he was. I really need some help, I work but I just about earn enough to pay my rent on my house.

Please help

Hi she is not allowed to keep you child away from you at all it doesn't matter what the situation is you can take her to court and fight for custody you will need profe that you have been there since your child is born. And just wondering does your child have your last name? You can simply call the cops on her and show her that what she is doing is wrong you no. do u and your child have a good relationship? Because she is older they might ask her how your relationship with her is and so of the mother you can call an lawyer they can help you out more but hopefully this will give you an idea and help you out a bit

Most likley the will give you both shared custody which you will have her ever weekend because you have a daughter she needs her mother regardless but I'm pretty sure you will have her on the weekends and if your ex still doesn't listen to that you can take her back to court and she can potentially lose her rights to her child but knowing that I'm pretty sure she won't be stupid to do so well good luck
