A sample of Neon gas has a volume of 11.45L at 25C and a pressure of 1.28atm. Calculate the number of moles of Neon gas present in the gas sample.
Neon is 22.4 L/mole at standard temperature and pressure. So the ideal gas law, PV=nRT can be used to calculate how many moles 11.45 L would be under the conditions given. 11.45L/22.4L x 1.28atm/1atm x 273/298 = 0.6 moles
