Hey, my mom as gone through fallopian ligation surgery 4 years ago. Now she's 46 and suspects she's pregnant. How much chances she's going through ectopic pregnancy and if she does, are there any chances to save the mother and baby without having to go through surgury to remove the foetus?

The odds of pregnancy are extremely small. Why does she think she's pregnant? And why would she assume ectopic? When a follicle does get fertilized, it's because it managed to get past one or more ligation spots on the fallopian tube (there are different kinds of ligation, and there are different numbers of them), not a sperm getting up that far. And it's not a foetus at that stage either, it's just a few divisions of the early embryo.
What about menopause? If her periods stopped, that would be a sign, very common, and the flushed feelings and other symptoms might feel like pregnancy.

I didn't mean to imply that you can't have an ectopic pregnancy after a tubal.
It's just that rather than a 47 year old woman assuming something so rare, she should be seen for whatever pain or symptoms she's having and look for the most common conditions first.
