I'm looking for the title of a movie that aired on the disney channel during halloween in the very early 90's. I don't remember a lot about it other than it seemed well made and was about a haunted house and a ghost of an old man who wore a suit of armour.

It could be a version of "The Canterville Ghost"; the Oscar Wilde story has been filmed many times. I don't recall a version with him in armor, but three might be one.
