I had a boyfriend who keeps on promising to marry me but he only did so I would allow him to slept with me. After 2 years, I decided to get pregnant so my boyfriend will marry me as he promised. But sad to say, all are just PRomises that are made to be broken... he has a lot of excuses... Althroughout the period that I am pregnant, He did not show up. He did not even send me any amount for my vitamins and medications. But he keeps on texting me that he'll send money... Until I was hospitalized for bleeding, he still didn't show up. I'd been asking him to send money but he just promised but didn't send any amount. I gave birth last September, 2011 through a Cesarean section delivery.when my son was 20 days old, his father of m visited us for 12 hours only and gave me PHP1,000.00 because according to him that was only the amount that he has due to his loans. The milk of my premature son(36 weeks only) was cost Php1, 185.00 per 900 grams then in which consumed for 6 days only. Today, my son is almost 8 months old but the amount of support I received from his father since the time I was pregnant was PhP 6,000.00. He visited us when my son was 20 days old and 80 days old(14 hours) during my son's Christening with his parents after which no more. He just keep on sending text messages to us and promise to visit us in a certain day but failed to do so. Please help me on what to do so he will support his son. I could no longer provide some of the basic needs of my child due to my loans also.thank you!

First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. To avoid confusion your question has been moved to its own thread.

You made two bad judgments. First to sleep with this man without a legal commitment, second to use a child to try and bind him to you. Neither decision generally works well.

However, since he is the father, he's required to support his child. But you need to go to court to get a child support order. Do so immediately.

Yes, No idea why you would sleep with him since he was not keeping his promise but then to try to force him by having a child, sorry you should have seen this coming. But you should file in court to order the support,
