Let me start of by saying that I am NOT one to have crushes. So when I got a crush on my best (really really dorky and awkward) friend, I freaked out. Which is not the point, but still. I've liked him for about the past month, and only my 2 other really good friends know. One was going to tell him for me because she was sure (she's a mutual friend, by the way) that he liked me back. I refused. I thought I was lucky she listened. It turns out, he'll go out with the first girl to have a crush on him.
He found out that a (distant) friend of ours liked him and ten minutes later asked me if he should ask her out. I stuttered a lot, but basically got out, "You only found out a couple of minutes ago, and not from a very reliable source. And you never even mentioned that you liked her! So, no. No."
The next time he saw her he went up to her and asked her out. I was ten feet away. She said yes, he hugged her, and I had to pretend I was totally okay and not freaking out for the next 40 minutes of class. (The fact that he asked her out in a classroom kind of proves that he never sees her.)
So... Help? My best friend is going out with a girl he barely likes (which is also unfair to his new girlfriend, might I add), and I'm totally crushing on him.
What is a sad, dramatic, hormonal teenage girl to do?
