Hi
Please help me out of this prblm.my inlaws are all talkative and the major problem is that I'm a quite and a bit reserved person.

Now,
That I'm in the early stage of my marrige I'm facing a problem of being less talkative.
When ever I sit with my inlaws I do talk but not that much that there are expecting out of me.
Plzplzplzzzzzz... help me out as soon as possible.

You have to force yourself to talk more... its going to be uncomfortable... its going to feel awkward... but you are going to have to just do it... trust me it works... Because I was once a quiet person like you and now you can't get me to shut up.

Its not going to take as long as you might think... it gets easier the longer you do it... eventually you never think about it.

I agree with smoothy, but also want to point out that there are too many talkative people in the world already. Perhaps be an active listener, meaning you ask questions as appropriate ("These cookies are delicious. Did you make them? May I have the recipe?") and throw in good comments like "wow" or "tell me more." I did that with a friend who talked all the time nonstop. He thought I was the best conversationalist in the world (yet I didn't say much, but was fully engaged with what he was saying).
