My stepdaughter lives in FL with her mother. My husband was never married to the mother. His daughter is 18 and will graduate from HS in June 2012. My husband has paid child support to the mother since his daughter was born. He pays an amount that was agreed upon by he and his ex. They did not cosult a lawyer and nothing was ever put in writing. His ex says that she is going to sue for c/s that she feels she is owed. Is this possible? Neither his daughter nor her mother are employed. The mother also believes that c/s will continue as long as the child lives under her roof.
