I am 45 yrs. Old and have always had a normal period. This month I started bleeding all the time some days not much at all other days a more. I have cramping every day as if I am on my period. Is this something serious?

More than likely it is not serious, but of course you would need to see your doctor to try and determine a cause. It may be the start of perimenopause, which can result in irregular bleeding. It may be due to uterine polyps or perhaps endometriosis. There can be a number of possibilities.
