At the beginning of 7th grade, our trio was the best anyone can ask for. Me, Jonathan, and Olivia. It was like a Harry-Ron-Hermione thing, until Jonathan started liking Olivia more than a friend. My friend Jonathan would verbally harass me and mostly Olivia... Jon used to yell and get mad at Olivia at the smallest things, such as not talking to him when she's talking to other friends or not laughing at his jokes. He would yell at me for texting Olivia and call me swear words. He swears to people I'm "mean". He pretty much wanted Olivia all for himself when Olivia just wanted to be friends with him. The yelling, swearing, and anger problems turned to a daily thing. Olivia, who is too nice, gave him chances and hoped things will settle down. I gave him chances as well, however he wasn't like that at the beginning of the year. We shrugged it off and hoped his mad love will go away. Boy were we wrong. At our track meet, Jon swore that Olivia wasn't cheering for him at the track meet when she screamed, "RUN!!" He was also mad because she said, "GO KYLE!" when I was doing high jump. He went on about how Olivia didn't say his name when she was cheering for him. Soon it went to "Everybody hates me!!! You hate me!" Then, he crossed the final line when he swore at Olivia and called her the rudest swear words. He embarrassed her in front of her friends, friends' parents, and other schools. For his actions, he was kicked out of the track team, got his lunch time switched (so he can not see Olivia), and was not allowed to talk to Olivia for the rest of the year. Although he still could talk to me. When Jon was supposed to be the one suffering, me and Olivia were the ones breaking down. Olivia, being the nice one, believed he needed help and saw that nothing was working. She admitted she cried everyday because of our perfect trio in the beginning of the year. I am torn between Olivia and Jon because I have to help Jon through all of his problems that is believed to be either mental or puberty and Olivia needs someone from the trio to talk to. Olivia is quirky and believes everyone makes fun of her for being so, including her friends. We all see the good equalities in Jon and really want to get him some help so we won't have the problems again. All of the grownups tell us to move on from the trio and try finding another group. Olivia and I, as usual, get accused of being weird from others when we try making friends. Olivia is having problems "avoiding" Jon when she sees him everyday in the hallway. She tries forgetting about it and talks to her other friends, but they just bring the subject back up. We are already trying to tell the guidance counselor our problem, but everyone says, "move on." What we are getting at is, we realize we can not control the situation, but we want Jon to realize what he has done is wrong and try telling his parents he needs therapy or even maybe medical help. We can not move on from the trio, because Olivia can't blend in with the societ and I can't please everyone. We need serious help and suggestions.

Ok Harry potter fan I don't think that helped, and bro I had the same problem (with small changes) with my best friend. I tried to help him to the best of my ability, but I just figured out that no matter what I do he's not worth it. He has bullied me physically for going out with another friend of both of ours. And you and olivia should probably just be friends. You might both grow on your relasonships if you hang out more. I can see potential that you and Olivia should eventually be a little more than friends. :) hoped this helped

Lol thank you. Jonathan is getting help and there's a good chance that our group will be what I descirbed. And Olivia is not allowed to talk to him I don't know if I said that or not. So it's a little awkward for all of us.

Ya it is prob best not to talk to him unroll he calms down a little. But if he ever comes to the point of physically abusing u two, tell someone. People may think you're a wuss, but it is better than having a broken face. And if Olivia is I little on the socialy akward side, help her get past jonothan and try to find some more people to hang out with.
