Your cycle still falls within the norm. Many women will have a shorter or longer cycle than the average. You will generally ovulate about 12-16 days before the next period is due, regardless of how long your cycle is. However, this is just a starting place and you may happen to ovulate a bit sooner or later than that, as many women do.
Watch for changes that signal your body may be preparing for ovulation. A common sign is that cervical mucus may become more fluid and clear. You could try ovulation predictor tests starting a week before the 12-16 day guide. Some women find tracking their basal body temperature works well for them.
The online calculators go with the average, but many women do not fall within the average so they will not work well for them.
