I got a tiny crumb stuck down my nail and now my thumb is sore, red and swollen. I tried to get the crumb out with a pin which was painful and a tiny amount of puss came out. I thought that it would now get better but it is now more swollen and the skin feels very tight. What can I do to make it better as I can't get to a doctors for a couple of days!
