Hi,
I am filing 540nr short form, where should I enter CASDI amount on my tax return. I don't see any box for CASDI.
Thanks,

You don't need to enter it anywhere.

Then how will I get it back this amount.

You don't get it back. Why do you think you would get it back?

If I can add CASDI and state withheld tax and report on 1040nr as state tax.
Then why not I add CASDI in my state withheld tax and get it back whole amount (withheld tax + CASDI).

SDI is a state payroll tax that is deducted from the paychecks of employees in California. It is *completely separate* from the state income tax and income tax withholding. It was correctly paid. You don't get to get it back, unless you paid over the max limit because you had multiple jobs.
The idea is similar to the Social Security and Medicare taxes for federal. They are separate from the federal income taxes and you don't enter them anywhere on the federal income tax return either.
The California SDI is deductible for federal income tax purposes; this is irrelevant.
