Hi - Really hope someone can help, We had a new boiler fitted two years aog and never had any problems with it until the service ran out.. (typical) around that time we had our dishwasher that had been sat there waiting to be plumbed in for five years plumed in. Ever since we have had to top up the boiler every day and reset it. The water pressure was never an issue before, could it have something to do with it? I have tried to contact the plumber who put the boiler in to come and have a look but he seems to have vanished. Any ideas?

Hi MGE

What kind of boiler here? What exactly is the problem... low hot water pressure to the house or just to the boiler? How is cold water pressure to the house?

Finally, any plumber should be able to help so if you can't find the guy that installed the boiler I'd suggest calling in another local plumber... should make quick work out of this!

Hi thanks for your help, It's a Vokera Unica HE and it's the system pressure I have to top up, Its OK when the heating is on and the hot water works etc but after the heating goes off the system pressure plumets. Its all since the dishwasher - do you think its because of that or do you think I have a faulty valve or leak somewhere in the system? There isn't any damp though.

Low hot water just to the boiler the pressure of both hot and cold water seems OK.

Sounds like an issue that will need a plumber to look at it. It could be a problem such as a leak and you just haven't found it yet (*ugh*) or it could be a faulty pressure feeder valve or gauge... ;)

Find a local plumber and see what he thinks, OK?

Good luck!
