I am having trouble with a neightbor who wants to put up fences and told to me move my shead and trailor that it was on his property. We do not agree on the property lines. He said the county was to come out and verify his stakes that he put down, does the county do this?

The County has nothing to do with this unless the County owns the property. This is not a service the County offers property owners.

The County will survey if it has an easement, wants an easement, something along those lines.

A private surveyor does the survey.

You will need to hire a surveyor to come out and check the stakes, ( or concrete markers)

... This is not a service the County offers property owners. ...

"There are 3,033 organized county or county-equivalent governments in the United States according to 2007 Census of Governments." County (United States) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/County_(United_States))

Short of asking them all, I would tend to agree. :)

I agree with both answers but need to know where this is and how long has your trailer and shed been in this place? How long have you and he owned the land and when did you first disagree about the property line.

We could split - you take 1,000 or so and I'll take the rest - ?
