I lived in the US for 4 years, as a permanent resident. I left the US in May 2011 to return to the UK.

I am completing the 1040NR-EZ form, as a dual status return. Do I need to declare (in section J) the income I earned in the UK after I left the US and abandoned my permanent resident status?

When I left the US in May 2011 I completed I-407 (abandonment of lawful permanent resident status). After returning to the UK I have worked and paid tax in the UK. I am a UK citizen.

Negative; you only report U.S.-sourced income on the Form 1040NR-EZ.

I am a US Citizen living in Canada and holding employment in Canada on a year round basis. I paid taxes to Canada. I know I am required to keep filing US Income Tax. What form should I file and where do I declare the income and the tax withheld in Canada. I don't want to pay taxes in both countries.
Thank you your answer

You file Form 1040 with Form 2555 to claim the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion.

If you earned more than $100,000, you will also need to file Form 1116 to claim the Foreign Tax Credit.
