How can I get over my ex-boyfriend who has had many different girlfriends since we broke up and he doesn't worry about his son? Everything reminds me of him and makes me feel bad for leaving him. I don't know if I did the right thing, because he doesn't worry about his son and he has visit but he never shows up. The last time my son saw him he was 6 months now he is 10 months. He does not even call to ask about him, or if I need money for the baby since the baby's birth he has not given me any money for our son. What do I do?

I honestly feel like I'm looking in a mirror here x
Now, about you.
It sounds to me like he's trying to sever all contact from you, and wants to move on. You have honestly done the right thing. An uninterested parent really disrupts a young child's development, causing them to feel unloved and detached. This is going to hurt, but you need to focus on your little boy and give him all the love you can and help him to grow up. If you need financial support, ASK him about it. If he refuses, consider alternative sources or possibly going to court over it. It will be painful, but your son needs the best start in life if he is not going to have a father.
If you want him to be involved, phone him and ask him to meet up with you over coffee or similar to discuss your issues with his behaviour regarding your son. He may realise his faults and take a more active interest and role. But the point is you have to give him the chance to get back into his son's life.
Hang in there, honey, I know it is hard, and how isolated you can feel. But remember you still have people who love you, and will support you. I wish you the absolute best, and I hope everything turns out OK xx

You get child support through the courts, that's what you do.
