I noticed last night My 9 year old cat was sitting with his tongue sticking out and saliva collecting on his chin and he is still like this today. He does not appear to be in any pain and inside his mouth looks fine he does look like his jaw may be a little stiff, but he does seem to be moving quite slow and very weary of everything except us. He is eating and drinking OK. His face looks slightly odd, but not swollen in any way, his pupils also look strange! Could these be symptoms of a stroke?

He could have had a stroke or maybe is experiencing congestive heart failure (my cat did the tongue-sticking-out thing then with little movement, extreme fatigue, occasional panting). Please take him to the vet.

Is there any chance he has gotten into something? Or have you applied any topical flea or tick products?
The pupils looking "strange" does not sound good.
I agree, he needs to get in to see the vet.
