We thought our double sink was clogged. However, when we take the cap off the outside relief valve it flows wonderfully... and not outside by the relief valve. It just runs perfectly. What are we doing wrong relative to the release valve. Should we replace the cap, keep the cap off, etc.

Hi dekerjudy and Welcome to The Plumbing Page. At AskMeHelpDesk.com. You're responding to a 5 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date in the first post before you post, Thanks,
It doesn't sound like a clogged sink to me. It sounds more like a faulty AAV,(air admittance valve). The solution would be ton replace then AAV. Good luck, Tom
