Hello my vagina has been itching since Friday (a day after I had sex) so it's been about two days. I've never had this before and it isn't my first time having sex.. My left vagina lip is swollen just a little and my vagina and vulva area are very itchy. I only spotted cottage cheese like discharge once. I've done some research thinking it might be a yeast infection? I am really scared, is this really bad? I'm going to the doctors but I don't think I can tell him I had intercourse cause my mom will most likely come with me and she doesn't know about my sexual activity. So will that matter?

For the correct treatment the doctor needs the correct information, you may or may not have an std.

Don't waste your time going to the doctor if you are not going to tell them the truth.

Ask a nurse that you would like to talk private to the doctor. Or quietly mention it to a nurse to tell the doctor.

Sometimes vagina gets irritated. However, its been two days and the best solution is to go to the doctor secretly and have check it up to know what's really the reason for itching.
