A couple of months ago I had a altercation with our neighbors and since then I have gone down in health both physical and mental. I was going out for a walk and felt I was chased away from there. Lot of people following me. Even within where I work I think people are watching me and passing information on when I will go out. I have physically seen these things happening. If I am standing somewhere and smoking I see people cross me until they get noticed and then stand there and stare at me. Till now they have not contacted me but I am scared. Even when I went to another city 250 miles away I have this same experience. They might have the contacts and reach to do this. I did meet a Psychiatrist who gave me Sizondon plus but I have discontinued it after using for 2 weeks. No reason - just wanted not to be dependent on medicines. I cannot sleep. Just when I am getting to sleep I have palpitations and wake up. With the medicines it was better. I don't hear voices nor visions except these people watching me almost 24 hours with vehicles parked near my home or office and when I walk out stand and stare at me. So many things cannot be imagined - I feel these are all real. Can anyone out there help me if they had similar experience and help me how to get out of this?

If this is a new experience... Remember, you control your mind and not the other way around. You are now thinking too much of nothing and it gets really real sometimes, I know. However, you got to learn to be rationale. Find important things to do that can occupy your free time to hallucinate.

Start taking your medication, is there a close family member or friend that can make sure you take it, ( even if you don't think you want to)

Get back on your meds so your brain chemistry can return to the proper balance. No shame needing meds for certain conditions. A lot of us do. Like people who have to wear glasses to see with. Or those that take an aspirin every day to prevent heart attacks. No difference.

Schizophrenia, all types, is a complex diagnosis requiring an extensive history and clinical observation. Not a process that can be accomplished on-line.
Based on your report it sounds as though the medication prescribed (Sizodon*) relieved some of the symptoms complained of. Yet you stopped taking?
Fr_Chuck and Talaniman offered good advice. Continue taking the medication, especially since it was helping and with no noted side-effects. Then you can always get a second opinion on the diagnosis from a qualified practitioner.

Risperidone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sizodon)
The British National Formulary recommends a gradual withdrawal when discontinuing anti-psychotic treatment to avoid acute withdrawal syndrome or rapid relapse.[16] Due to compensatory changes at dopamine, serotonin, adrenergic and histamine receptor sites in the central nervous system, withdrawal symptoms can occur during abrupt or over-rapid reduction in dosage.
