I recently installed a Danze pulldown faucet. The water tasted like rubber and I had a severe allergic reaction to it with tongue swelling. It has really scared me and I want to know if the reaction was to the rubber or a chemical on it

Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date before you post, Thanks, How long did you run water to flush out the valve? Did you remove the aerator and then run the water? I don't have a clue as to why your tongue swelled up. That's a new one on me. Does the hot water smell worse the cold or are they both the same? What have you done so far? Bank to you, Tom

Do you have latex or rubber allergies? If so, then you certainly could have had a reaction, but would need to contact Danze to see what they use in their faucet/spray hose to be sure!

You may need to replace the faucet entirely!

I have the same problem with a Danze I installed. Not allergy thank god but can this problem be fixed? E.g.) will it go away after time??
