So about four nights ago me and this guy I have a thing with got carried away and started fooling around. We had been drinking and I know he ejaculated at some point during this little episode. We both had our pants down and I rolled over on him to make out with him, then I realized that our pants were down so I got off. But I don't remember if it was before or after he ejaculated. He did not enter me. This happened two days after I ovulated. The next morning to be safe I took Plan B One Step. I took it in less than 12 hours. Yesterday afternoon I was getting some cramps and I figured that meant it was doing it's job. I know it's highly unlikely to be pregnant considering he didn't enter me, it was over 24 hours after I had ovuated (and an egg only live for 24 hours) and I took Plan B within 12 hours of the incident. But I'm worrying myself sick. Someone please give me some friendly advice and help calm me down...

Hi PaigeRamsey... welcome to AMHD,

It would be extremely unlikely for pregnancy to occur given the situation you described. He would have had to have ejaculated at least at the vaginal opening, and even that is not the most efficient way to become pregnant.

Your dates for ovulation may be off as most women do not know the exact day, only a general idea of when it might be likely (online calendars, for example, give an average and many women do not fall within the average).

Taking Plan b would decrease the likelihood even more. You may experience some bleeding or spotting associated with its use.

Hard to do, but try not to worry too much. Obviously you will need to see what happens when your next period is due, but again, it would be such a remote possibility.

Hopefully the scare will serve you well in being more aware and careful with getting carried away, especially while drinking.
