My 6 year old HE Washer will not due anything when you press the buttons. I Verifiey power from wall into the machine and in and out of a few connectors in the panel. Any idea what it could be?

First, check the screens on the water inlets where water hoses attach to machine. Turn water off and remove hoses and check both ends then look at water valves and clean the screens. If they were clogged nothing will work. Then, if it still will not work you have corrosion om touch pad control board. You will have to check the connections to board and the surface of board. Clean surface of board with alcohol and clean the carbon disks that are under buttons. They are just like a remote control unit and you clean it the same way. Windex works good, too. Check the door switch and other safeties for corroded connections and switches that are not closing. Usually, on these machines dirt and water get on circuit board and dry which prevents the buttons from working, just like when you spill something on a remote control. This should be easy to fix.
