How do I figure this out 3/7 * 3/14 simplest terms

Multiply the numerators and multiply the denominators:


\frac 3 7 \times \frac 3 {14} = \frac 9 {98}


Now see if there are any common factors shared by both numerator and denominator. The only factor of the numerator is 3, and 3 does not divide into 98, so as shown this fraction is already in its simplest form.
