I last received my depo shot in oct of 2012 & was due for my next shot Jan 2012. I did not get my 2nd shot Jan 2012. It is now March 2013 & I still have not received my period. Should I be worried?

Probably not. Unfortunately it can take several months for some women to have their cycles return to a regular pattern. Women who are wanting to conceive, for example, may find it takes well over a year to regain fertility after having been on depo.

It is very individual. You may find your periods start back up next month, or not for a few months still. They may be regular right from the start, or they may be irregular at first.

Since pregnancy can be possible, you may not have the lack of a period as a sign. If you are having unprotected sex, you may want to try a pregnancy test once a month if you are still not having periods for awhile.

You can always see your gyn for the peace of mind, or just give them a call.

No nothing to worry about some people when they come of the depo shot it can take up to a year for your normal period to go back to normal.
