I have a 1993 civic. Automatic. 85K miles.
Diving it last week and it just flat out died while I was driving.
Here is what I have tried so far.
1. I jumped the CEL plug to right of glovebox, but as I looked at the light, I realized...
"hey, I don't think I ever saw the CEL lit up".
That said, when I jumped it, the CEL lit up solid.
2. When I turn the key to II I hear the fuel pump relay
3. I just checked and I have no spark. I checked by pulling a wire off the distributer cap and "bridging" the gap with a piece of copper wire. I didn't see any spark.
4. Only one time, while I was checking for spark as my son turned the key, did I hear a strange electrical "buzzing" type noise. The noise seemed to be coming from an electrical plug, that connects to the back of the intake manifold.
5. When I first got it home, I had tried spraying either in it so see if it would fire for a second. But it did not.
My guess is that it is the coil, or computer.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
