We put a bid in on a house Bismarck North Dakota accepted at $149,900, closing Date March 28th. The house had had 2 bids previously but each buyer backed out (1 lived out of state & would have to put $22000 down & the other a single mum who was worried she wouldn't make payments). Each time the house passed appraisal. We paid $600 for an appraiser who didn't go do the appraisal till just now, even though they've had forever, and they said it's worth $145,000 even though it made the $150000 mark last 2 times. Now the bank won't give us a $150000 loan, only $5000 difference. And the seller won't go down $5000 as the back up offer is someone willing to pay $150,000 cash, no bank. We think it must be an oil worker coming up. They've been buying up everything. Is there anything we can do to fix this and keep this hous. Someone already signed a lease for our apartment so we can't stay and must leave on the 1st. We'll be homeless if we can't move into this house! Thanks
