A friend of mine wants me to find the value of this painting she is in her late 60's and says she bought this picture in the 60's. And it was old then. I can't read the name on it to find out anything can you help?

Sure, but you need to attach a close up of the signature, and even then, there are countless unknown painters, so it might not ever be solved. Try some galleries and antique shops, or show us a pic.
