I just got the OK from my OBGYN to have 1 more child, since I had a DVT in my right leg after my first child caused by multiple things, C-section and being placed on birth control 2 weeks after giving birth. So needless to say, me and my husband have been having unprotected sex. I had my period last week, which was normal, however I don't have a normal 28 day cycle. I haven't been on birth control for about 2 years. I have been having nausea over the last week, like I did with my first son, and haven't been having any time of appetite for food, with tenderness of breasts as well as horrible mood swings/emotionalness. Is it possible that I could be pregnant, even though I had my period?

It's unlikely that you're pregnant if you had your period, but it's not impossible. Some women do have bleeding in early pregnancy. Heck, some women have bleeding all throughout pregnancy, and mistake it for a period.
If you feel that you may be pregnant than try a pregnancy test. That's really the only way to know for sure.
If the test is negative, keep trying, and wait for your next cycle.
Baby dust your way. I wish you all the best.
I answered this question already, but apparently there's a glitch in the system, or you deleted your original thread and started another, forcing my response to become its own thread. The above is my original response to your original question.

A question for you mborden777... did you by chance have any blood work done to check for possible blood clotting disorders? Pregnancy, c-section, and birth control pills do increase the possibility of clotting, but sometimes there can be an underlying condition that predisposes you for it to begin with. Might be something to ask your doctor about if it hasn't been discussed. It would be important to know as your care during pregnancy could be altered.
As Alty said, since you had a normal period, pregnancy is not as likely, but given the other possible symptoms, do try a test and see what results you get. If it hasn't happened this time around, hope it happens soon for you!
