Smoothy, my guess is your correct, as I found the question at two other question sites:

Tundra or GEO? - All About Circuits Forum (http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showthread.php?t=67512)

Tundra or GEO??and why? - Yahoo! Answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120315075950AALY4ZJ)

If the poster would have searched for the question posed, the answer would have been found, albeit, the hard way:

communications satellite: Definition from Answers.com (http://www.answers.com/topic/communications-satellite)

Footprints by Dish Size - Definition of Geostationary (Geosynchronous), Polar, LEO, HEO, MEO, Sun Synchronous Orbits, Brief Satellite History (http://www.geo-orbit.org/sizepgs/geodef.html)

www.thedirectdata.com/seminar/gms.doc

Sure I found where the answers are, poster needs to find the answers.

This is the field I currently work in... providing data services internationally, by every available means and I have worked as a Sat network controller and have commissioned several new sats a number of years back. So I know the answers to these intimately... and as asked by the OP... it will fill many volumes and still not cover everything.

Besides this site has clearly defined policies pertaining to homework... which are quite easy to locate as well.

Basically... we don't do your homework for you... but we will help you once you have shown you actually did the work first.
