Ok so I met a girl on tumblr she is 16 she turns 17 in June and I just turned from 17 to 18 in Feb. And we talk everyday and text and when she turns 18 I am going to see her she wants to. So is this legal for me to talk to her and talk about how we are going to see each other when she is 18?

No its not illegal.

Unless you are 'sexting' a minor, and she can press sexual harassment charges on you.

Talking is fine. But there's a fine line between sexting and talking. If your conversations are sexual in nature in any way, you could be in big trouble. Keep it PG and you should be fine.

There isn't a huge age difference, it's not like you're talking to a 13 year old (maybe you should ask for a birth certificate just in case ;)), but the fact is she is still a minor, and you're not. Even if there's only a bit over a year between the two of you.

So, until she catches up, turns 18, it's the bambi version of talking, and not Debbie does Dallas. Okay?
