I've been with my guy for two and a half years we recently had sex about month ago because he wanted to and so did I but now I feel like I want it every time he comes I don't pressure him but when I menitioned I was on my period he wanted to have sex. So why won't he have sex with me when I'm not on my period?

He either likes the "taboo" idea of having sex with you at that time or he thinks it's safer that you won't get pregnant.

Most likely he has the incorrect idea that you can't get pregnant then.

But you are having sex with him and been with him for over two years, so can you just not ask him why? If you can't talk to him about it, most likely you should not be having sex with him.

I'm with the other two posters... he apparently has a misconception you can't get pregnant on your period... which is very, very wrong.

If you can sleep with him... you should be able to ask him.

F my life :( I wish my girlfriend wanted to have sex all the time lol.

As for the period thing. Either he's dumb enough to think you won't get pregnant during that time or he's got some crazy fantacy. Period time is the one and only time where I'm not interested in sex :/ (I'm not so great with the site of blood)

Brittyjo, am I correct in thinking that your relationship just became sexual after two and a half years? Do you know anything about his sexual history? It might help explain if he has a fetish or a misconception about the reproductive cycle.

Are you on any form of birth control? Is he trying to get out of using a condom?
