Tonight I got caught with a group of kids smoking and I was just wondering about how I could get off early and what that entails. I'd prefer to not have to tell my parents about this seeing as I can't drive. Also wondering because I had nothing on me, but was intoxicated. Also, I don't have to have a lawyer for the court date do I? And it's best to plead guilty I assume.

If you are a minor, you have to tell your parents, since they have to be in court with you. They would be liable for your fines. You have not even been charged, but to get off probation, you do about 1/2 of your probation time, pay all fines, do all programs required, then petition the court to let you off early
