Hey guys.
I don't know why, but people in my high school just don't seem to like me. I have one friend that I actually talk and hang out with, but everyone else seems to be a ****, or weird. I can read that they're all materialistic.. I've tried to fit in with them, but it just isn't clicking, and I don't know why. Why is it like this? I'm nice to people, not a nerd, etc. But people are so mean for no reason.. My parents say, "Because you had to grow up quicker, so you're not as immature" but is this true? I'm starting to think I'm going crazy lol, what is wrong with me.

If you were mature, this wouldn't be a problem. You'd be secure within your own skin and wouldn't even think about it. You'd be reaching out to them, not standing back and criticizing (you're mature and they're not; you're not as materialistic as they are).

Do you like THEM? If so, how do you show it?

Many teens feel that no one else understands them. Many feel they don't even have that one friend. With that said, first what is wrong with being a "nerd" sounds like you look down on them ? Why are you not friends with them ?
