I'm moving forward with my life, and doing a good job at it, or so I think. I have my mind focused on school and future goals I hope to accomplish, I'm happy with the way things are with my family friends and relationship, and I'm happy that I got myself to move forward. The thing I seem to have no control over are my dreams. Like I said everything is perfect there is no reason to dwell in the past, and then one day out of the blue moon I have a dream that takes me back to the past. Can I do anything to control my dreams? It seems to be the only part I can't control, especially because there is never a good reason for them. I didn't run into my past, I didn't think about my past, so I shouldn't be dreaming about the past! I love my life and the way it's heading, so why do my dreams keep taking me back?

Yes. You can do a lot of things to control your dreams. In order for you to not experience bad dreams, try drinking warm milk 2 hours before your desired time to doze off. Do not eat anything with protein 4 hours before going to bed. Proteins such as lean meat, fish, beef, eggs, etc. will cause you to have dreams and nightmares. So, easy on the protein starting right now, okay? If you're hungry for meat, drink a glass of water or eat fruits and vegetables during dinner to stop you from having those awful dreams.
