What is the total cost for a passport and total cost for visa to come to America?

A couple hundred dollars at most. If you met this individual online, and they are requesting money for a visa, passport, ot BTA, they are lying, and are a part of a well documented scam.

Can't tell you but what I can tell you is that you might want to be cautious about being scammed.

Can I ask where and how you met this woman? There are well known scams that work this way and I would hate to see you caught up in one. They are called 419 scams so you could do a Google search on that if you don't believe me.

Basically how it works is that somehow you "meet" someone online... short while later they are "in love" with you... then they talk about wanting to see you BUT... they have no money to do so. Maybe you could pay it because they really want to be with you. You send that (usually by Western Union) and if you're lucky, that will be the end of it but they usually don't stop there. Once they get some form of money (or "monies") from you, then they will need more. The mother, daughter, son may get sick. They may need to pay certain "fees"... anyway, it will continue until you can't give anymore and then that's it. You won't see them or hear from them and there is no legal recourse to gain your money back.
