I own a '94 accord 2156cc 2.2 soch non v tech, and there seems to be oil sprayin on the fire wall under master cylinder on fuel filter. Where could it be coming from? Also, I'm missing the plastic guard inside the distributor cap, and noticed that there is oil on the ICM(whitch is bad and needs replaced) but how did it get there? Please help!

The oil on the firewall could be coming from an improperly fitting oil filter. Remove the filter and see if the mechanic installed the new filter on top of the old gasket. It's important to always account for the old gasket, when you install a new filter. They can stick on and cause serious leaks.

The oil leak inside the distributor is a sign that the distributor housing is shot. Only install a new genuine Honda distributor housing--all other are suspect. It's fine, however, to install an aftermarket ICM, to keep the cost down.

Well OK. That seems easy enuf to take a look at. Is the plastic piece in the distributor cap critical? And would oil on the ICM cause it to fail. And make the car die. I see a jumpy tach whenever its going to die on me. Thank you so much for your time in advance!

The leak cover is there to protect the ICM and internal sensors. It's not critical but it should be there. A jumpy tach often indicates that the ICM is bad, since the ICM's BLU wire goes to the tachometer. I would definitely install a new aftermarket ICM in a genuine Honda distributor housing. Coat the back of the new ICM with silicone heat transfer compound.
