]Hi,
I had fraternal twins born by emg.c-sect at 29 weeks (contractions started at 25) then a full-term single bub born also via emergn. C-sect.
I'm now preganant with identical twins and wondered what the chances are that I will have very premmies bubs again this time around?
Also, are my chances of VBAC completely out now?
Thank you

I'm not a nurse or a medical expert, but from what I've learned from my doctor, and from friends that have had a c section, a VBAC is not always doable. Your doctor would be able to assess you better when it comes to this option. But, since you are expecting twins it's most likely that you won't be considered for a VBAC.

Twins usually come early. They just aren't able to gestate as long as single babies. Since you have had pre-term deliveries in the past I'm sure your OB will be keeping an eye on things.

There's really no way for anyone to tell you for sure, but your past history does suggest that you'll most likely be in for another premature birth.

Congrats. :)
