What kind of ink: ball point, permanent marker, etc...

The only thing which can clear the ink from the face of the doll is Petrol. Try to clear it through petrol it should clear the ink.

That may not be a good idea at all and really, it's probably a terrible idea. Petrol, gasoline, may very well dissolve the rubber or plastic that the doll is made of.

Still waiting to hear back from the OP. Looks like ali's comment was removed, ood idea. Never use petrol as a cleaning agent. http://www.hpa.org.uk/webc/HPAwebFile/HPAweb_C/1194947317038

Once the ink base is absorbed into the plastic(I assume a plastic base) it is almost impossible to remove.

Depending on the type of doll or the type of material she's made of, you could try to paint over the mark.

If she's a doll that you display then paint wouldn't be a problem. If this is a doll you play with then I'm afraid that you may have to accept that she'll have this mark on her face.

If you decide to paint over it you'll have to find a paint that's safe to use on the material that the doll is made of, and you will have to mix paints in order to get a match to her color. You won't get a perfect match, but you should be able to get pretty close.

If she's a collector item and very dear to you you can take her to a shop that specializes in doll restoration and they will be able to help cover up the mark.

Good luck.
