If we filed Bankruptcy and the it was discharged before any lien was added to the vehicle, can they still add a lien?

Was the debt which led to the lien listed on the Bankruptcy Petition? How was the debt handled by Bankruptcy Court - did you enter into a new agreement, surrender the vehicle, something else?
