We have lived in telford for 5 years now and just not long moved into our house which we have been in for 1 year now we have had weired things happening for a long time but today was a bit freaky my daughter was upstairs and the bathroom slide door slamed shut and we opened it and her bag with her make up and bits was on the floor everything was out of it... Previously the glass door to the cupboard opens by itself and sometime there is a faint knocking sound from it... There are frequant cold spots upstairs and shadows that pass from the corner of your eye and when you go to look its gone... one occasion one of the kids was checking the oven and someone walked passed and asked if they were OK they turned round and nothing... my daughter was washing up and looked up and a dark shape was standing in front of her she ran into the sitting room and would not go back... This might make you laugh but we are not making this up we have had family die recently I don't know if they won't to contact us but we have had things happen for the last 20 years now... Can you explain please...

You have had things happen for the past 20 years? This doesn't sound like it is an issue with the house, but the family. NO it is not deceased family trying to contact you. What sort of things have happened in the past 20 years?

Lots of things tapping noises in the upstairs closet and it opening by itself... someone looking in the bathroom mirror just stays there for a minute or so than disappears... shadows walking across the landing and when we turn round it has disappeared... whispering when doing the housework and I think one of the children is calling me they say no mum it has happened to them to and they think I am calling them... and we get cold spots round certain parts of house too... we have orbes which appear near the fireplace too late at night and the feeling someone is following... rachel

Also my daughter bought a pair of boots that she kept in a shoe box on top of her cupboard she heard something one night on top of her wardrobe and pulled down her shoebox and in the middle was a hole the boots weren't burned not even touched but the hole was a perfect circle with burn mark round it...

20 years is a long time to have experiences. Can you tell me if anyone in your past family history had any dealings with the occult? This would include divination or spiritism. Any form of witchcraft in the family history?

Well, long story short, there is hope for you and your family. It is entirely up to you, but if you want this thing removed it is possible. Spiritual activity is very easily narrowed down to either angelic or demonic. Despite popular belief, human spirits do not remain around after death. So, this being said, do you think this activity is the work of an angel? The answer there should very easily be "no".

My advice is this, talk to a church that understands these issues. I would suggest a Pentecostal or Full Gospel church. Denominations are not important in so much that they understand what they are dealing with. It might take talking to more than one church. If they seem hesitant to believe you, they most likely wouldn't know what they were doing anyway. Handling this type of situation is the church's JOB... not only is it their right, it is their obligation to handle these things. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Not having much luck at the mo they say to get a medium in really but I think it might annoy the spirits more last night about 3 am my lad went downstairs he left the upstairs down partly open and the light on when he came back upstairs got half way the door slammed shut and the light turned of , then later on he got woken up by dvd being thrown from under the bed . My younger lad adam has got scratches on the top of his leg which he doesn't know how it happened it seems to happen if we need to go into the loft too...

Who says to get a medium? Certainly a church didn't tell you that?
