Hi Answer Me Helpdesk
How do I get on well with people, in order to make it sound like I'm not causing trouble? Although I've got an extremely fiery personality, I struggle to communicate with some people due to a diagnosis of learning difficulties, which means showing lack of empathy. A lot of peeps have said that I need to be empathetic, others say that I need to be less empathetic towards others who don't show me it. Although I'm a nice guy, I'm an extremely fiery guy with an inferiority complex, which means I get easily annoyed with other peeps. What do I do? Prevention is better than cure however :)

This is not a Family Law question, as far as I can see.

I don't equate learning disabilities with struggling to communicate.
I don't equate an inferiority complex with getting easily annoyed.
I suggest that you not try to pigeonhole yourself based on those two supposed character traits. They aren't even well defined, and they just end up being used as crutches.
Getting along with people is based primarily on caring about them and listening to them at least as much as you want them to care about you and listen to you. Often this means forcing yourself to STOP TALKING and start listening. You can make a conscious effort to pace yourself. In fact the easiest way to do this, no clock watching required, is to greet someone with how are you and really meaning it. If necessary, ask a few more questions about how they are doing, what they've been doing and thinking and what their plans are and so on. And lo and behold, inferiority is left behind in the dust, because your listening makes you this wonderful admirable person. Try it.
