5 positives and another positive a month later? I'd say congrats.

What test did the doctor do that led to a negative?

Both could be wrong.

Did they do a blood test at the doctors office?

A blood test is usually more accurate than a urine test, but 5 positives, that makes me wonder. I've never heard of anyone that had 5 positives and it turned out negative.

The only thing I can think of, and I'm not a nurse, doctor, or health professional, is an ectopic pregnancy.

I'd ask for an ultrasound.

After talking to a doctor friend of mine, the best course of action would be to get another blood test done. At this point an ultrasound may not help, unless you are in fact pregnant, and over 6 weeks along, which isn't for sure.

If this blood test comes back negative then it's time to see an OBGYN.

I wish I could offer you more. This is unusual to me. With 6 positives my usual post would be to congratulate you, but a blood test is more accurate than a urine test, and the negative blood test is throwing me off. It is possible to have a negative blood test. Mistakes happen. But you also had a period after the 5 positive urine tests.

Get another blood test, then go from there.

Please, let me know what happens.

I wish you all the best.

That's great!

They'll likely do an ultrasound in the next few months. They'll be able to give you an idea about how far along you are.

In the meantime, eat healthy, make sure to take prenatal vitamins, and plan for your baby.

Congrats! :)
