Do you have or know a source for the hinge shown in attachment 1?
Attachment 2 shows the style of cabinets where the hinges are used.
Christiana Community Builders used these hinges in San Diego in the
Early 1970's. I've looked locally and on-line with no success. Any
Information is appreciated. After only thirty to forty years, they've
Started breaking. Do you believe it? They are self-closing and one
Hinge just broke off the cabinet, while another just had the spring
Mechanism break. Just do not make them like they used to, I guess!

Many thanks... Skip

Found under FAQ and kind of hard to find.

How do I add pictures and other file types to my post?

A. "Attach" files (including pictures) from your computer. This method puts the attached file below the text of the post.

Click on an Ask or Answer button to ask or answer a question
Compose your question or answer in the window.
Under the window where you composed your question or answer is a section called Additional Options.
Click on the Manage Attachments button: a pop-up dialog will open. NOTE: The Manage Attachments dialog lists the maximum sizes of the various types of files that may be attached.
Click the Browse button to navigate to the image on your computer and double click the file on your computer: this will return you to the dialog window.
Click the Upload button.
Click the link to close the dialog window OR repeat numbers 5 & 6 to attach another image.

B. "Embed" image(s) from the internet. This method inserts an image wherever you wish within the text of your post.

Click the Insert Image icon above the posting window: A pop-up asking for the URL will open.
Enter the URL of the image in the field then click the OK button.

My note:
There is a size limitation, changing file format to JPEG helps.

Looks like Amerock 3429 to me.
Should be available at most home service centers

Thanks again, Stroud,

I had seen that hinge before, but some of the dimensions are different, especially
Between the cabinet face surface mount holes and the edge of the door, and it has
Three elements wrapping around the pin instead of the five elements like on the one
I removed from my cabinet. It turns out some of the hinges in my kitchen have three
And some have five... hadn't noticed it before. I guess it is the best I'll do.
I'll just move some around so the differences are not obvious. I'll just have to
Mount the new hinges a little farther away from the cabinet opening to maintain the
Existing door positions.

I had hoped someone in the neighborhood would say, "I've got some I'll sell you."

Thanks for your input. Now, I'll just make it happen!
