I NEED HELP! I am working on a small project and for it to work I need to know how I can have an on/off switch of lets say a small motor (or maybe lights connected to batteries) be controlled wirelessly through Bluetooth, preferably via a smartphone. I tried looking online but couldn't find anything. I don't know much about electricity nor mechanical stuff but if I know a bit what needs to be done and what parts I need to buy for this , then it will be easier to find someone close buy to help me with it. At least I would know what to ask for once I go to the shop.
There are apps that one could download that make phones control PCs or some enabling mobile phones to open and close car doors, so this should be relatively easy (I am hoping). There are even toys and sophisticated gadgets like helicopters that are guided by Bluetooth.. I just want a light or small motor to be turned ON and OFF.
From what I have read I think I first need something called a BlueSMiRF to be placed on the receiving end right? Please HELPPPPP If there is a phone app for such a thing also please share the link.. Thank you in advance... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
