Hi. I am a 18 year old female with some concerns about my menstrual cycle. I first got my period at the age of 12 and up until last year, my periods were always on time usually a month apart. Occasionally, I skipped a month but it was mostly stress related. However, this time, I haven't gotten my period since November 2nd, 2011. So it's been about 3 months. I am extremely concerned as to what this could be. I have seen a family physician and she wasn't too concerned since my mom also has/had irregular cycles her whole life. She suggested pelvic exams which I am willing to do soon. I just hope it's nothing too serious. Any answers at this point are appreciated. THank you.
