Legally, he can be charged with 'indecency with a child'. You are under 17 and he is more than three years older than you are and you weren't and aren't married. If he actually will be charged is up to the local authorities.
Quite frankly, he should have thought about this before he had sex with you (actually before he even touched you.) Good luck.
PENAL CODE CHAPTER 21. SEXUAL OFFENSES (http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/docs/PE/htm/PE.21.htm)

(2) with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire
Of any person: (A) exposes the person's anus or any part of the person's genitals, knowing the child is present; or (B) causes the child to expose the child's anus or any part of the child's genitals.
(b) It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under this section that the actor:
(1) was not more than three years older than the victim and of the opposite sex;
(2) did not use duress, force, or a threat against the victim at the time of the offense; and
(3) at the time of the offense:
(A) was not required under Chapter 62, Code of Criminal Procedure, to register for life as a sex offender; or (B) was not a person who under Chapter 62 had a reportable conviction or adjudication for an offense under this section.

Agreed, he could be charged and go to prison for having sex with you. I would suggest a fast marriage and hope your parents don't have issues with him before the statue of limitation runs out for the crime.

I agree with Cat! The guy is an adult. 23 years old as a matter of fact. I don't understand why this so-called "man" cannot date someone his own age. Honestly, if I had a daughter your age and this was taking place under my roof I would have had him charged.

It's a bit late to worry about what the law is, but since your parents are okay with this, then he better get over his fears, and prepare to support this child. But ignorance of the law is not an excuse so your parents can have him arrested and prosecuted.
What is the statute of limitation for Child Molestation Statute in Texas (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_statute_of_limitation_for_Child_Molest ation_Statute_in_Texas)
DFPS - Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/)
Your parents are in danger of being prosecuted themselves and charges can be brought against them, and your boyfriend.

One more thing to add to this is your parents are not the final say. When the baby is born, the hospital may be required to report it and the police will become involved. In fact anyone with knowledge of the situation can report it.
So, if you are truly in love, then I would agree you should get married ASAP. Frankly any 23 yr old that has sex with 16 yr old is not good husband material and probably should be in jail.
You don't say how long you have been dating, but the shorter that time is the more likely this guy is a predator and not really in love with you.
