Hoping someone can give me some answers. If this gets to be TMI I am so sorry. So here's my story. Dec. 7th through the 10th I had a period that's a normal period for me. My next period should have started anywhere from the 2nd through the 5th of January but it never showed up. I wasn't stressing over it and wasn't really paying it no mind so I know it wasn't because of stress. After doing some researching I found out that it is normal for a woman to miss a period sometimes so I went with that. My next period should have started around the 3rd or 4th of Feb. And still nothing. I took a few pregnancy tests that came out negative. I've never been on birth control, my husband and I use withdrawal not really a method so I won't attempt to call it that. Some of the things that I have been dealing with is: nausea, heartburn, twinges in lower belly, cramps (not bad), headaches, and I stay really tired. I DO have a doctor's appt. Scheduled a week from now, But I was wondering if maybe anyone else has went through this and turned out to be pregnant? Thanks in advance.

It's very possible to have "false negative" tests. It could be a number of things that could cause you to miss periods but its also possible you're pregnant. Did you take the tests using first morning urine? No one can tell you for sure except your doctor. I'm sure it will seem like a very long week! Good luck!

A false negative is very common. Also if you are not using the first urine of the morning, it is more likely to get false negative.
Why are you not using birth control of some type or form, since if you are doing the withdraw thing, ( while it does not really work) it would show you are not wanting to get pregnant.

We're not really preventing or trying so if I happened to get pregnant then we would be happy with that. I was just hoping that maybe someone has a similar story as mine and ended up being pregnant. My last pregnancy I got a positive around a week or so late not really sure on that. This time is just scaring because if the tests are negative and I'm not pregnant I'm worried it could be something else.
