Hello, I am 17 years old and have been on birth control since last June. My period is not due for another 4-5 days and I have been having really bad cramps and started having this brown discharge, which now is turning red, and I was just wondering if this is just a sign of an early period or is it implantation bleeding?
PLEASE HELP ME!

Your period is probably just gearing up to start. There is always the chance of implantation bleeding, but it is pretty rare, and it sounds like your period starting up to me. You are 17, and your hormones are still changing things up a lot, so its not uncommon for your periods to come unexpectedly, or a little late.
